Dear Guests…

We hope you enjoy your stay! The following are some suggestions and guidelines to make your stay more comfortable and help the museum stay on top of cleaning, maintenance, and expenses. If you have any questions, please reach to Payson or Stefanie at the museum office at (904) 829-3575.

Upon Check-in

We respectfully ask for check in to be no earlier than 3pm the day of arrival. Due to the increased popularity of the SPAH this helps to ensure we have enough time in between guests to clean and make any necessary repairs. For the comfort of all, you may adjust the A/C or heat as necessary using the thermostats in the kitchen and upstairs in the master (green) bedroom. We will reset them after your departure. As a safety precaution, please note there is a fire extinguisher located beneath the kitchen sink. While staying in the house, please always use the handrails on the stairs. Please refrain from opening the upstairs rooftop door and/or standing on the rooftop.

Upon Departure

Check out time is 11am unless otherwise arranged. This helps to ensure we have enough time in between guests to clean and take care of any maintenance concerns.

Please place all used linens near the washer and dryer in the room adjacent to the kitchen. You do not need to wash the linens; we will take care of this for you.

Discard any food/condiments you brought into the house (including in the refrigerator) and general trash in the wastebaskets throughout the house and gather them in the kitchen. If you have unopened leftover food and drink items you do not wish to bring home with you, please let us know – we love snacks!

Lock the front door when you exit and leave the key with the staff in the gift shop or, if after hours, please leave the key in the mailbox on the porch of the SPAH.

The Fine Print

The accommodation fee is $150 per night for use of the house. In addition, there is a one-time cleaning fee of $50. Pre-payment is preferred, but if checking in outside of museum hours, please leave payment in the form of cash or check on the dining room table of the SPAH. If checking in during regular museum hours, please make your payment in the gift shop. Payment in the form of check, credit card, or cash is accepted, and payments can be made over the phone or in the museum gift shop. Checks should be made directly to the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum.

Ximenez-Fatio House Museum Business Hours are Monday to Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm.

The staff of the XF House prepares and cleans the SPAH before and after guest visits. We try to keep the house as comfortable as possible for all guests and make repairs as quickly as possible, but if there is anything we have missed or needs attention, please let us know.
