The Sally A. Kellogg Lecture Series

“Uncovering Black Society in 19th Century Florida”

The Ximenez-Fatio House Museum and the National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the State of Florida along with grant support from the James and Sally Anne Kellogg Fund at The Chicago Community Foundation are proud to present: Uncovering Black Society in 19th Century Florida. As a continuation of the stories heard in “I Lived Here, As Well” we will further explore the lives of early black Floridians and learn more about some of the invisible hands portrayed in our annual program.

All proceeds will go to the preservation and restoration of this unique coquina and tabby 1798 constructed house museum, which portrays 19th century life of owners, guests, and servants in a fashionable Boarding House in the heart of old St. Augustine.
